Its range left us wanting just a bit more, but we never shared our thoughts on that one around our home turf.

The 2023 Kia EV6 GT is a car that blurs the line between a family vehicle and a supercar. With a whopping 576 horsepower and 545 lb.-ft. of torque, this all-wheel-drive vehicle can go from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. But can it really function as a family car?
First of all, let's talk about the interior. The EV6 GT has plenty of space for a family of four, with ample legroom and headroom in both the front and back seats. The racing bucket seats are comfortable and supportive but might be a bit too snug for larger adults. The dual 12.3-inch screens for gauges and infotainment are easy to read and offer a sleek, modern look.
In terms of technology, the EV6 GT has a lot to offer. The wide sunroof and LED headlights and taillights are both impressive features that add to the car's overall aesthetic. However, it does have a DC ultra-fast charging system and a 10.9 kWh on-board charger, making it easy to top up the battery when needed. The battery pre-heating system and heat pump also ensure that the car is able to perform optimally in all weather conditions.
The EV6 GT's electronically controlled suspension and electronic rear limited slip differential make it a pleasure to drive, with sharp handling and precise steering. The regenerative brake level control paddles also allow for more control over the car's regenerative braking system.
Of course, the biggest downside of the EV6 GT is its price. Starting at $61,400 and costing $62,865 as-tested, this car is definitely a luxury purchase. However, if you're in the market for a high-performance EV and have the budget for it, the EV6 GT is definitely worth considering.
