BREAKING!!! 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Custom Z71 from the North Texas Auto Show

Writer's picture: Cory FourniquetCory Fourniquet

We found a rare beast while we were touring the 2023 North Texas Auto Show in downtown Dallas. This is the first time we have EVER seen the redesigned 2024 Silverado HD in the Custom trim. Chevy is yet to even drop images of these online, so this was a rare sighting indeed!

What we see is an updated grille and headlights with the return of the Bowtie on the front of the Custom trim. Pre-refreshed LTZ and lower trims all had “CHEVROLET” spelled out across the grille, but now the Bowtie is back! Inside, we get the carryover dash from all other Custom trimmed trucks, no surprise there that this lower trim does not get the new, class-leading 13.4-inch infotainment screen with digital gauges. The inside of this one may be simple, but it works and can fit 6 adults in a pinch, which is more than many 3-row SUVs nowadays!

Otherwise, this is a familiar vehicle we know much about, but what do you think of the updated Custom’s new look and the bowtie’s return?
