We really enjoyed our time in our second Ford Motor Company Maverick press loan, this is the 2023 XLT Tremor off-road package.

Available as an option on both the XLT and Lariat, the Tremor adds some off-road goodies and increased capability, but in our time driving it around town we thought it worked well as a daily driver as well. Holli and I have differing opinions about how we would most often utilize the bed and its 1,500 lbs. of maximum payload, but other than that we were generally in agreement about all things Maverick.
Our only real gripe is that when we install Tucker’s child safety seat, there is NO WAY to access the under seat storage in the rear as the bench is not split, and let me tell you that car seat is not easy to take in and out of this truck. The bigger trucks on the market need to teach Maverick a thing or two about rear-seat ergonomics.
2023 Ford Maverick XLT Tremor Specs:
- Approach Angle: 30.7º
- Breakover Angle: 19.9º
- Departure Angle: 22.2º
- Ground Clearance: 9.4 inches
