Our Story

The Backstory

GT: Garage Talk began in 2020 when Cory set out to turn his lifelong passion for the automotive world into a career. What started as a gearhead podcast covering car news and industry stories quickly grew into something bigger: real car reviews for real people.

In 2022, Holli and Tucker joined the fun, bringing a fresh perspective on how vehicles perform in everyday family life. From car seat installs and grocery runs to road trips and school pickup lines, our reviews reflect how cars actually work for families, not just how they look on paper.

That’s also why we launched Female Consumer, a dedicated space where Holli shares car reviews through the lens of what women really care about: car seat fit, storage, comfort, safety, tech, and style.

Today, GT: Garage Talk blends expert insight with real-world usability, helping everyday drivers find vehicles that fit their lifestyles and budgets.

We’re more than car enthusiasts — we’re a family behind the wheel.

GT: Garage Talk is proudly powered by Fifteen58 Productions LLC.

Meet the Crew

GT Hosts

Host · Founder

Cory Fourniquet

Cory’s love for cars started at age 9, during a big move that changed everything, except his new obsession with a certain green Camaro. That spark turned into years of research (in a pre-Google world!) and eventually, a dream realized when he bought his own anniversary edition Camaro.

After a career in data analytics, he shifted gears (pun intended) to pursue his true passion: helping others discover what makes a vehicle special. Now, as an award-winning automotive journalist and Past President of the Texas Auto Writers Association, Cory brings expert insight and enthusiasm to GT: Garage Talk, sharing car reviews, stories from industry changemakers, and content that helps real people find the right ride. Whether it’s horsepower or how many car seats fit in the back, Cory’s here to break it all down.

Junior Reviewer

Tucker

Tucker is the youngest member of the GT: Garage Talk crew, bringing a fun, kid-approved perspective to every car we review. From testing tailgates to pushing every button he can find, Tucker shows what families really want to know. As a homeschooler, filming and reviewing for his own YouTube channel—Tucker’s Talk—is part of his learning journey. He’s even been a Hot Wheels car show judge and is already making waves as a young automotive journalist with reviews on cars, toys, attractions, and more.

Host · Female Consumer

Holli

Holli has over two decades of experience in the marketing world. By day, she provides affordable marketing solutions helping brands grow with smart, effective strategies that get results. In her spare time, she is an award-winning automotive journalist and brings a practical, female-first perspective to every review. She also writes for A Girls Guide to Cars, helping women feel confident and informed when choosing their next vehicle. From cup holders to comfort, Holli covers the features that matter most to moms and everyday drivers.

Who Owns and Operates GT: Garage Talk®

GT: Garage Talk® is owned and operated by Fifteen58 Productions LLC, a family-run media company founded by Cory Fourniquet. Cory serves as founder, host, and publisher; Holli Fourniquet is our brand manager and Female Consumer host. Every review, article, and video published here is produced in-house by our team. We may use tools to help with an initial draft or research, but every article is reviewed, fact-checked, edited, and approved by a real person before it is published. We do not outsource our work to writers who are unfamiliar with the vehicles we cover. Editorial decisions rest solely with GT: Garage Talk; no advertiser, sponsor, or manufacturer has any say over what we publish or the opinions we share.

How We’re Funded

GT: Garage Talk is a self-funded, independent publication supported by a mix of revenue sources so we can keep our reviews free to read. These include display advertising served through our ad partner, The Publisher Desk; affiliate links, where we may earn a small commission when you buy a product through a link on our site (at no extra cost to you); sponsored content and brand partnerships, which are always clearly labeled as such; and sales from our Merch & Gear store. None of these revenue sources influence the opinions in our reviews. For full details on how we keep advertising separate from editorial, see our Editorial Policy.

Our Relationship With Automakers

To review new vehicles, manufacturers loan us press vehicles or cover travel to media drive programs, which is standard practice across automotive journalism. We are never paid to write a review, and no manufacturer is ever guaranteed positive coverage in exchange for a vehicle, a trip, or anything else. We also receive automotive products free of charge for testing. In the rare cases where a company pays for a guaranteed mention, that relationship is disclosed within the article. You can read our full conflict-of-interest policy on our Editorial Policy page.

Use of Manufacturer and Promotional Images

Many of the vehicle images on GT: Garage Talk come from manufacturer media and pressroom sites, which authorize automotive media and journalists to use these images for editorial coverage. GT: Garage Talk is authorized to use promotional images provided by or on behalf of vehicle manufacturers for this purpose. Where an image comes from another source, it is credited accordingly.

Editorial Standards

We hold our work to professional journalistic standards, including fact-checking, a corrections policy, and clear separation between advertising and editorial content. You can read the details on our Editorial Policy page.
