Apple in Negotiations with Auto Manufacturers to Produce Upcoming “Apple Car”
We shared a story just earlier today from tech blog Mac Rumors about the current rumored timeline of a potential electric vehicle from Apple. Max Rumors now reports, with confirmation from Hyundai, that Apple is in fact in negotiation discussions with the Korean automaker for possible production of an “Apple Car”
Normally, we would take this information with a grain of salt since it was initially reported by Economic Daily News, which has a sketchy track record: 18. Economic Daily News: 36.8% accurate however, this report was confirmed by Hyundai themselves. This does not surprise us as Apple has no known current facilities capable of mass production of vehicles, but this does ensure that we are truly years away from seeing a production-ready version.
