Stylish Yet Affordable: 2023 Chevrolet Blazer 2LT RedLine Edition

We have documented our thoughts on the naming of this mid-size 5-seat SUV from Chevrolet on many different occasions, but our thoughts on its name aside, this really is a good SUV for most families and this 2LT won’t necessarily break the bank either.
NEED TO KNOW
- A good family SUV that doesn’t need every option to deliver a satisfying ownership experience.
- 2023 refresh updated the exterior and made the 10.2-inch infotainment screen standard.
- Redline Edition visually spices up the base trim level at minimal cost premium.
- Powered by a 2.0L turbo four-cylinder making 228 hp.
- Tested vehicle sourced from Peltier Chevrolet; as-tested price $41,895.
Showing that not all vehicles need to check every option box to be interesting, this “base” 2LT has the optional Redline Edition package which spices things up over other models. Complete with blacked-out Chevy bowtie emblems, gloss black wheels with red accents, red outlines around black “BLAZER” badges, and additional black and red accents all around, this $41,000 SUV might be the one for you if you want to stand out from the pack.
For 2023, the entire Blazer lineup gets refreshed exterior styling, LED lights, a 10.2-inch infotainment screen on all models, and available Qi wireless phone charging among other enhancements. We drove a 2022 model last year, so this is a quick synopsis of what has changed for 2023.
