2027 Honda Passport Pricing Revealed as TrailSport Refresh Hits Dealers
The wait is over. Honda just released 2027 Honda Passport pricing, and the refreshed Passport TrailSport is starting to arrive at dealerships today. When we first broke down the 2027 Honda Passport TrailSport updates earlier this month, the price tags were still under wraps.
Now, families eyeing a trail-ready midsize SUV finally have real numbers to work with. The lineup starts at $46,790 with destination, while the TrailSport that most Passport buyers choose starts at $51,590.
2027 Honda Passport Pricing by Trim
Every 2027 Passport comes standard with all-wheel drive (AWD), so there is no need to pay extra for traction. Here is how the six versions stack up. Prices include the $1,595 destination charge but not taxes, title, or registration.

Compared with the 2026 Passport, the base TrailSport climbs $1,545 before destination. Additionally, the destination charge rose $145, so the total jump is $1,690. The RTL Blackout also disappears from the lineup, which leaves the Blackout look to TrailSport models only.
More Ground Clearance and a Bolder Look
So what does the extra money buy? First, Honda reengineered the TrailSport suspension. As a result, ground clearance grows to 9.65 inches, a 1.38-inch gain over the 2026 model. Honda says that figure tops both the Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road and the Subaru Outback Wilderness.
The styling gets tougher, too. TrailSport models add more pronounced fender flares, a darker lower front fascia, and amber LED hood scoop lights. Meanwhile, the Blackout Package now brings black front and rear fascias plus 18-inch black alloy wheels. Finally, Smoke Blue Pearl replaces Obsidian Blue Pearl on the color chart.
Family-Friendly Features Are Now Standard
For families, this might be the best part of the refresh. Honda’s TrailWatch camera system, previously exclusive to the TrailSport Elite, is now standard on every TrailSport. It helps on the trail, of course. However, it is just as handy when you are squeezing into a tight school pickup line or a crowded grocery store lot.
The heated steering wheel also moves from Elite-only to standard on all TrailSport trims. Anyone who has handled a frosty morning drop-off will appreciate that upgrade.
V6 Power, AWD, and Fuel Economy
Under the hood, the Passport sticks with its 3.5-liter V6. For 2026, Honda rated that engine at 285 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Honda’s torque-vectoring i-VTM4 AWD system remains standard on every trim.
Fuel economy is where the added capability shows up. The RTL is EPA rated at 19 MPG city, 25 MPG highway, and 21 MPG combined. TrailSport models come in at 18/22/20 MPG, which is 1 MPG lower on the highway than the 2026 TrailSport.
Built in Alabama and Selling Strong
Honda builds the Passport exclusively at its Honda Alabama Auto Plant in Lincoln, Alabama, which is celebrating 25 years of operation. That plant also builds the V6. In addition, Honda says nearly 99% of the Honda vehicles it sold in the U.S. in 2025 were made in North America.
Buyers are clearly responding. The fourth-generation Passport, introduced in early 2025, is setting sales records, and TrailSport trims make up more than 80% of Passport sales. That momentum matches the strong year Honda is having across its SUV lineup. Honda will even export the Passport TrailSport Elite to Japan later in 2026.
Luis Guerra, assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales, said the refresh delivers “even more off-road capability, bolder styling and the innovative standard features” that adventure-minded customers want.
Is the 2027 Honda Passport TrailSport Worth It for Families?
If your family camps, hauls gear to the lake, or simply deals with rough rural roads, the TrailSport makes a strong case. Overall, 2027 Honda Passport pricing lands about $1,700 higher for the TrailSport, but the added clearance and newly standard TrailWatch cameras deliver real value.
