2027 Lincoln Nautilus: A Cleaner Design and an Insane 48-Inch Screen

The 2027 Lincoln Nautilus proves that a refresh does not have to shout. First, Lincoln took an already handsome midsize luxury SUV and cleaned it up. As a result, it feels simpler, more confident, and elegant. Then you climb inside. Suddenly, the 48-inch panoramic screen lights up the whole dash, and “quiet” goes right out the window.

Meanwhile, the Nautilus builds on an award-winning run. For 2027, it gets a bold new face, more ways to personalize it, and calmer technology. Clearly, that approach is working. In fact, Lincoln sold 10,370 examples in the second quarter of 2026. That marked its strongest second quarter ever for the nameplate. Better yet, nearly 65% of those buyers came from other premium brands.

A Cleaner, More Confident Face

First, look at how much calmer the styling is. For 2027, the Nautilus gets a wide, detailed grille. In addition, a redesigned hood and sculpted fenders give it a planted stance. New signature lighting also ties the look together front to back. Meanwhile, slimmer rear taillamps push the Lincoln badging front and center. In short, nothing feels fussy, and that restraint reads as elegant.

Personalization matters here, too. For example, buyers can choose five wheel options, from 19 to 22 inches depending on trim. In addition, the Jet Appearance Package adds a glossy black grille and accents on Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label. Two new colors also join the lineup. First, Nocturnal Blue brings a rich, frosted blue. Second, Frosted Fig adds a Black Label-exclusive plum that suits the new Eminent Hour theme.

The Cabin Is All About the Details

Inside, Lincoln leaned into craftsmanship you notice slowly. For example, new Black Label themes hide subtle patterns and finishes. In fact, they stay almost invisible until the lights come on. Then the whole space transforms. Ultimately, it captures the goal here: design that is not simply seen, but felt.

The theme choices also expand across the board. For instance, a lighter Afterglow palette now reaches Premiere and Reserve. In addition, Reserve buyers can add a Hot Chocolate look. Black Onyx also gets a sharper two-tone treatment. At the top, Black Label adds two new themes. First, Eminent Hour draws from a desert sunset, with warm copper wood and Menorca seating. Second, Elysian Light takes cues from sunrise over water, with Soft Cloud leather and Pearlescent Ash wood. Above all, these finishes make the cabin feel special.

Those Screens Are Genuinely Insane

Here is where the 2027 Lincoln Nautilus really got my attention. The Lincoln Digital Experience centers on a 48-inch panoramic display. Notably, it stretches across the base of the windshield. As a result, it is still one of the most dramatic screens at this price. Better yet, it keeps navigation, entertainment, communication, and vehicle info in easy view. In short, it makes most rivals look ordinary.

The smarts come standard, too. For example, the Lincoln Connectivity Package adds Google Maps, Google apps, and voice assistance. It also includes four years of activated connectivity, plus an unlimited Wi-Fi hotspot. On top of that, every Nautilus gets four years of BlueCruise 1.5. That is Lincoln’s hands-free highway system, and it now handles smooth automatic lane changes. In short, it is a lot of technology, and it never clutters that clean new dash.

Room to Stretch Out and Reset

Space has always been a Nautilus strength. For 2027, that does not change. For example, second-row riders get 43.1 inches of legroom, among the best in the class. In addition, there is enough cargo room behind them for a real road trip. As a result, this two-row SUV feels genuinely roomy. That matters when the whole family comes along.

Lincoln also expanded its wellness features. Here, the brand gets a little different. For example, the Renew Package now reaches Reserve 200A. In addition, it pairs Lincoln Rejuvenate with 24-way Perfect Position front seats, complete with memory and massage. Then Lincoln Rejuvenate blends visuals, audio, seat position, and climate into one parked reset. Digital Scent also layers in curated fragrances. Basically, it is a spa mode for your driveway.

What Powers the 2027 Nautilus

Under the hood, the Nautilus keeps a proven pair of powertrains. First, the standard engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. It makes 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. Meanwhile, the available hybrid adds a 100-kW electric motor and a continuously variable transmission. Together, they produce 285 combined horsepower. Notably, all-wheel drive (AWD) is standard across the lineup.

Clearly, the hybrid is the sweet spot. In fact, Lincoln says hybrid models now make up more than half of Nautilus sales. So buyers want efficiency without losing that smooth, quiet Lincoln character. We have seen the same balance elsewhere, too. For example, the 2027 VW Atlas Cross Sport also leans on a turbo-four. For a family that racks up miles, that combination is hard to beat.
