2027 Toyota Crown Signia Limited Gets More Standard Tech and a New Inked Color

Toyota isn’t reinventing the Crown Signia for 2027, but it is making the top trim a better value. The 2027 Toyota Crown Signia returns with a new Inked paint color, and the Advanced Technology Package that used to cost extra on the Limited grade is now standard. Pricing starts at $44,890 for the XLE and $51,155 for the Limited, plus destination.
For context, the Crown Signia is the wagon-like SUV of the Crown family. It blends sedan-like handling with SUV versatility, and it carries on the luxury-leaning approach we liked when we drove the 2023 Toyota Crown XLE.
Advanced Technology Package Goes Standard on the Limited

The biggest change for 2027 comes on the Limited. Features that previously required the optional Advanced Technology Package are now included at no extra cost. For example, that list includes the Panoramic View Monitor, Lane Change Assist, Front Cross-Traffic Alert, and Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking.
The Limited also gains Traffic Jam Assist, although it requires an Active Drive Connect trial or subscription and a 4G network. Outside, the mirrors add puddle lights and a reverse tilt-down feature, which makes backing into a tight spot a little easier.
New Inked Paint and Available Two-Tone Roofs

The other news for 2027 is a new Inked exterior color, which replaces black on the palette. It joins Bronze Age, Finish Line Red, Oxygen White, and Storm Cloud, and it is available on both grades.
In addition, the Limited continues to offer a two-tone look with a black roof. However, that option is only available with Storm Cloud, Oxygen White, Finish Line Red, and Bronze Age. Inside, buyers can choose Black or Saddle Tan leather trim on either grade.
A Sleek Profile on Up to 21-Inch Wheels

Otherwise, the design carries over, and that isn’t a bad thing. The Crown Signia keeps its long, sweeping roofline, wide fenders, and monochromatic grille, along with color-matched exterior details.
The XLE rolls on 19-inch machine-finished two-tone alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the Limited steps up to dark gray metallic 21-inch, seven-spoke wheels that fill out those wide fenders nicely.
Leather-Trimmed Cabin and a 6.5-Foot Cargo Area

Every Crown Signia seats five and comes standard with heated and ventilated leather-trimmed front seats. Soft-touch materials and bronze-metallic accents dress up the cabin. Plus, the XLE includes heated outboard rear seats, an 8-way power driver’s seat with memory and lumbar support, and an 8-way power passenger seat.
Still, practicality is where the Crown Signia earns its SUV label. Fold the 60/40 second row flat, and you get a cargo area more than 6.5 feet long with over 68 cubic feet of space. On the Limited, a fixed panoramic glass roof brightens the cabin.

Standard Hybrid Power and Electronic AWD

Every 2027 Crown Signia uses Toyota’s hybrid system, built around a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a nickel-metal hydride battery. Together, they make 238 total system horsepower, and Toyota estimates 38 MPG combined.
Electronic on-demand all-wheel drive (AWD) is also standard. Instead of a traditional transfer case, a rear-mounted electric motor powers the rear wheels when needed, such as in corners or on slippery roads. As a result, the system can split power anywhere from 100:0 to 20:80 front to rear. It’s a familiar formula that has helped Toyota’s hybrids keep racking up sales.
2027 Toyota Crown Signia XLE vs. Limited

First, the XLE is far from bare. It comes with LED projector headlights with Automatic High Beams, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with six speakers, Qi wireless charging, five USB-C ports, low-profile roof rails, and power-folding heated mirrors with blind-spot indicators.
For $6,265 more, the Limited adds the 21-inch wheels, the panoramic roof, an 11-speaker JBL Premium audio system, a digital rearview mirror, rain-sensing wipers, and auto-leveling headlights. It also adds Digital Key capability, which requires an active Remote Connect trial or subscription, along with the newly standard driver-assistance features.
Safety, Connectivity, and Warranty

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every Crown Signia. That includes the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Lane Tracing Assist. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, too, along with five-year trials for Safety Connect, Service Connect, and Remote Connect.
In addition, coverage includes a 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty. Hybrid components are covered for 8 years/100,000 miles, and the hybrid battery is covered for 10 years/150,000 miles. Finally, ToyotaCare covers scheduled maintenance for one year or 10,000 miles and includes two years of roadside assistance. You can build your own on Toyota’s Crown Signia page.
Our Take on the 2027 Toyota Crown Signia

Making the Advanced Technology Package standard on the Limited is the kind of update buyers actually notice. Still, at $51,155 before destination, the Limited sits close to Lexus territory, so the Crown Signia has to win on style and efficiency. For families who want a hybrid with real cargo room that doesn’t look like every other crossover, it remains one of the more interesting choices in the Toyota lineup. The 2027 models are expected at dealers later this year.
