Nissan’s sales turnaround keeps rolling. Nissan reported third-quarter U.S. retail sales of 196,018 vehicles, up 7.8% compared with the third quarter of 2025.

Nissan also says it remains the fastest-growing mainstream brand in the U.S. for the 13th consecutive month, and it has now posted 19 consecutive months of year-over-year retail sales growth.

The Nissan brand’s third-quarter retail sales increased 6.8% year over year. Keep in mind that Nissan reports retail sales here, which typically exclude fleet deliveries, so its numbers are not a perfect one-to-one comparison with automakers that report total sales.

Even so, 19 straight months of growth is a meaningful streak for a brand that has been working hard to rebuild momentum with updated models like the 2027 Armada Dark Armor.
